Are You Afraid Of Change?
Posted by Brad under Fat Loss
Here’s a quote that I think about quite often:
Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great. - John D. Rockefeller
Many times, I see people fail to make a change in their workouts just because they are afraid of moving away from what’s working. For many of those people, aerobics and long term, steady state cardio make up the majority portion of their workouts.
I know that for these people, the shear fact that their bodies had never done any kind of working out before lead to these workouts showing results.
But now, there are no results…
People all over the world have plateaued because they are afraid of making a change… afraid of going into the unknown.
Remember, we only improve ourselves when we stretch our boundaries and make ourselves go farther than we’ve been.
And yes, I could go into how interval training and weight training will increase your metabolism by EPOC (but I won’t). Likewise, I could go on telling you how aerobics and steady-state cardio are huge time wasters (but I won’t).
Instead, I am going to ask you to just do something on blind faith…
If you haven’t been seeing results from your workouts lately, get a little more aggressive. Push yourself into the anaerobic zone more.
Yes, it will be uncomfortable at first… and yes, being uncomfortable sucks.
However, the definition of insanity is continuing to do the same things yet expecting different results.
Let’s go from good to great.
And, if you need some help… I’ve set up a “special” offer this week for anyone that purchases Turbulence Training by Craig Ballantyne. (If you haven’t noticed yet… this is one of my favorite programs… because it flat out works)
