Ryan Shay Passes

Now, the question that l want to know: why did he pass?

Here you have a 28 year old runner, supposedly in the best shape of his life, passes away in an event that he has done many times before.

Could it be that his body finally gave up and that long distance running really isn’t as good for you as many would like you to believe?

Could it be something performance enhancing?

Sadly, the latter question always seems to fly up when something like this happens… but I feel that it’s unjust.

However, it does bring the first question into consideration.

Is this a sign that long distance cardio… might not be the best thing for the human body?
