With more and more people moving into the obese category of the world, it’s a wonder that someone hasn’t really addressed why people really fail when it comes to weight loss. What is the number one red flag that keeps people from having the body of their dreams?
Can we narrow it down to just one thing?
The Number One Cause Of Weight Loss Failure
Overwhelmingly, the real cause for people having trouble with losing weight revolves around a phenomenon called “Failure To Launch”.
In other words, people don’t get off the ground at all. Sometimes, it’s because of procrastination. Sometimes, it’s because of “analysis paralysis” or not being able to choose the direction in which they want to go.
However, all roads lead to this “Failure To Launch” principle.
You see, the weight loss game, like many other things in life, is built around momentum and catapulting off of your past successes. For many people, they just don’t put themselves in a position to succeed.
Of course, these same people might play the blame game, inherently making it okay because it’s “not their fault”.
Failure to launch is a big problem in society and it effects more than most people can care to admit.
Remember, many times, just doing something is better than doing nothing: even if you’re doing it wrong. That’s how we learn.
Action begets more action. Sitting down and over thinking what you are going to do will get you nowhere.
Make sure that “failure to launch” doesn’t interfere with your goals. Worst case scenario, just try something: you’ll figure it out before long, I promise.
